This course will analyze the difference between traditional buildings and high performance interiors as well as the background of the LEED ID+C rating system. Discuss common strategies used by project teams completing ID+C certification with the new LEED v4 while identifying documentation requirements and other important factors to be aware of. Finally, case studies will bring to life the concepts discussed through this course.

Learn about AIA COTE and how the COTE criteria are utilized to evaluate green building projects. Walk through each of the projects to understand some of the strategies employed to achieve the sustainability goals set out for each building.

AIA COTE Measures of Sustainable Design

This course looks closely at the measures of sustainable design as outlined by the committee for the 2016 award. In addition, we will also look at a green building project that won the AIA’s TOP 10+ award.
