Breakdown structures are essential methods of project management and have been improved through the effective practice in the evolution of Project Management. Breakdown Structures that are mostly used are Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS), and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).

We can find a significant variety of this practices that are some time integrated and are evolving in different ways in different parts of the world. What are these standardized structures evolving around the world and for and how and for what are they been used?

The WBS is established in reference to CBS to meet the requirement of Cost Control. Control Accounts are established based on the intersection of WBS and OBS. This leads to a clear picture to show organization responsibility on the scope of the work for the cost budget. This will be tremendously useful for our EVM System implementation.
