The inspirational Albion District Library is one of the busiest libraries in Toronto with a 75 percent increased visitor ship for teenagers. One of the AIA COTE Top 10 Green Building Projects, the Albion District Library is a fine example of community participation in design decision. Designed by Perkins and Will and built by Aquicon Construction Limited, this project clearly demonstrates the immediate positive impact of good design. The project features many sustainability features including: a rooftop PV array, sloping green roof, daylight harvesting, green roof and stormwater management to name a few. The Albion District Library serves as a community hub for a diverse demographic including many new Canadian citizens. The Albion District Library, in Toronto is part of GBRI’s case study series where we look at amazing green building projects from around the world. Join our audio-visual tour as we explore this sustainability project.

About Instructor

Felicia

Felicia Fuller, Client Relations Coordinator, currently attends San Antonio College and is aspiring to receive her associates in architectural computer aided drafting and design. She is based out of our home office in San Antonio, TX where she manages our customer service department. Felicia strives to achieve the best customer experience possible for all of our clients here at GBRI. Felicia also manages auto reporting for GBCI for all our students.
