Doug Leaffer is a Professor of Engineering and Physics at NECC (USA-Massachusetts), and a PhD candidate in Civil & Environmental Engineering (Environmental Health) at Tufts University (USA-Massachusetts), where he earned an MSCE (Civil/Environmental). Dr. Leaffer’s research interest is environmental/transportation noise and air quality impacts to population health. He has lectured on diverse topics including sensor technologies, air pollution, and climate change at conferences and universities internationally. He is certified as an EIT, PG, WELL AP, WELL Faculty, LEED Green Associate and has global business experience in 50 countries on 5 continents.

LEED Certification is for buildings. Buildings upon completion earn LEED Certification. LEED Accreditation is for individuals. Individuals who pass one of the LEED credentialing exams become LEED Accredited.
LEED exams are scheduled by Prometric Testing Centers. Testing centers are typically open six days a week. Since all LEED exams are computer-based, you will find out your results of your exam instantly.
On demand webinars are files that can be viewed online any time and viewed multiple times during the duration of your product access. Live webinars are shown in PowerPoint style, with a LEED expert delivering exam prep course material via GoToMeeting. The live webinars include time for Q&A with the instructor. On-demand access is also included with our live webinars so you can review any information you may have missed.

Climate change Ambassador program would boost up your resume to a higher level. Whether it’s a job interview or a group discussion, as a Climate change Ambassador, you will be able to engage in conversations pertaining to Climate change, Architecture, and the built environment.
One must take and successfully pass the WELL AP exam. Candidates must be 18 years or older. WELL project experience is recommended, however it is not a requirement! Candidates take the WELL Exams at Prometric Centers around the world (just like the LEED exams).
Yes. WELL APs have to complete 30 hours of CE in a 2 year reporting cycle. 6 of those 30 hours have to be WELL specific. A WELL specific course would have an explicit connection to the WELL rating system.
GBRI is a USGBC Education Partner and our LEED Green Associate, and LEED AP exam prep materials were developed in collaboration with architects, engineers, and building professionals who have successfully passed the LEED Green Associate and LEED AP exams. Developed by industry experts, our comprehensive exam preparation materials will give you everything you need to successfully pass your exam. The preparation materials are part of the ISP. Please note that the fees to register for the exam is not covered in the tuition as it is outside of GBRI’s scope.
First you will need to log in to your USGBC account, and register and pay for the exam. Keep the eligibility ID provided by USGBC handy. Visit prometric.com to find a testing center near you and schedule your exam.
You will have access to the material for 1 – 2 years from the date of purchase depending on which option you selected.
There are no prerequisites to take the LEED v4 exam. Everything you need is included in GBRI’s LEED Exam Prep Course Materials.
