Bronze Membership: Same Great Wi-Fi, Now with a Tiny Bill!
Introducing the New Bronze Membership: Sustainable Access to Essential Learning
- At GBRI, a proud small business, we’ve always been proud to offer free courses as part of our commitment to accessible sustainability education. Our previous free Bronze membership enabled thousands to benefit from these resources, and we’ve been honored to be part of their learning journeys.
- Now, our virtual learning landscape has a funny parallel with the real world—it also has its utility bills. By this, we mean the overheads we incur in manual reporting of CE credits to AIA and USGBC. In essence, we’re like that friendly neighbor who always keeps their Wi-Fi open but occasionally has to ask for help to pay the bills.
- To ensure the sustainability of our model and continue providing high-quality content, we’ve restructured the Bronze membership as a nominal platform use fee. For just a small annual investment, members will still enjoy access to all our free courses, along with additional benefits like earning certificates, badges, and auto-reporting of CE hours.
- This change reflects our dedication to balance affordability with sustainability. By introducing the Bronze membership fee, we’re able to keep delivering valuable educational experiences while maintaining the services you value.

Questions And Answers
Great question! At GBRI, we cherish our role as a small business that has offered free courses to thousands of sustainability enthusiasts. However, even in the virtual world, there are “bills” to pay—such as manual reporting of CE credits to AIA and USGBC.
We like to think of it as being the neighbor with open Wi-Fi, but sometimes even the most generous neighbor needs a little help with the utility bills. That’s why we’ve introduced a nominal platform use fee for our Bronze Membership.
But don’t worry! This small investment still gives you access to all the free courses you’ve enjoyed before, plus additional perks like earning certificates, badges, and auto-reporting of CE hours. It’s our way to keep the lights on and continue providing valuable, accessible sustainability education without breaking your bank. After all, who says quality education can’t come with a friendly price tag?
