Proper practices of project scheduling are often forgotten, in particular when it comes to large projects where fitting all schedule into a single large schedule should not attempted.

Too often, projects are managed based on inadequate schedules, making decision making haphazard and inadequate. Simple checks on schedule adequacy and quality would avoid this trap.

In this presentation we will focus on some proper practices, informed by findings and experience from across our consulting practice in multiple industries globally. Examples of poor practices will also be shared.

We will more particularly discuss the following essential concepts of:

    Schedule hierarchy
Expected qualities of integrated project schedules
    Convergence planning
How to quickly check the technical quality of a project schedule.
