Refund & Performance Guarantee Policy
GBRI is committed to delivering high-quality sustainability education. Because our products are digital and provide immediate access to proprietary content, the following refund and performance guarantee terms apply.
Please review carefully before enrolling.
Continuing Education (CE) Packages & Memberships
14-Day Refund Policy (Unused Access Only)
You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided:
- No course content has been completed
- No CE certificates have been issued
- No CE hours have been reported or submitted
- No quizzes or assessments have been passed
Once course content has been accessed or CE credit activity has occurred, the package is considered used.
Partial Refunds (Limited Use)
If partial course activity has occurred within 14 days, GBRI may, at its sole discretion, issue a prorated refund based on:
- Number of modules completed
- CE hours earned
- Administrative and processing fees
No refunds will be issued once:
- CE certificates have been issued
- CE hours have been reported to credentialing bodies
- Reporting deadlines have passed
Retaking courses used in a previous reporting cycle does not qualify for additional CE credit and does not qualify for refund eligibility.
Exam Prep Performance Guarantee
GBRI offers a conditional performance guarantee for exam preparation packages.
This guarantee is not automatic and requires strict compliance.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a refund OR one-time access extension (GBRI’s discretion), the registrant must:
- Complete 100% of the exam preparation modules
- Score at least 90% on all required quizzes
- Score at least 90% on all full-length mock exams
- Follow the recommended study roadmap
- Take the official exam within 15 days of course completion
If all requirements are met and the candidate does not pass the official LEED or WELL AP exam, GBRI will provide either:
- A one-time course access extension (recommended option), OR
- A refund of the exam prep package purchase price
GBRI reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy.
Required Documentation
- Official exam score report
- Exam date confirmation
- Matching name on GBRI account and exam record
- Completion verification of all course requirements
Failure to provide documentation voids eligibility.
Exclusions
The guarantee does not apply if:
- Any required module or mock exam was skipped
- Exam was taken prior to completing the program
- Scores below 90% were recorded on required assessments
- Fraud, misuse, or chargeback activity is detected
Chargeback & Abuse Protection
GBRI reserves the right to:
- Deny refunds in cases of excessive refund requests
- Suspend accounts engaged in abusive refund patterns
- Contest chargebacks where course access has occurred
Digital access logs and completion records are maintained for verification.
Policy Modifications
GBRI reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase governs that transaction.
