In the first part of our exploration of Dubai’s World Fair, we highlighted some key features of this extraordinary event. Now, let’s delve deeper into Part 2, where we showcase the expo’s iconic buildings and structures. Our journey begins with the awe-inspiring entry portal, crafted from a Carbon-fiber ribbon that comprises thousands of ultra-thin carbon fibers. We’ll then marvel at the Al Wasl Dome, famed for its 360-degree projection surface.
GBRI ISP alumni Nandana and Anagha guided us through further architectural marvels, including the LEED Platinum certified Terra – the Sustainability Pavilion. This pavilion, along with several other LEED-certified buildings representing countries from across the globe, showcases the expo’s commitment to sustainable design.
