WOHA creates green ‘pocket parks’ in its Singapore office design | GBRI

A Singapore office space at 48, North Canal Road designed by renowned architecture firm WOHA just got a green makeover. The architects at the firm adopted an eco-friendly approach and created lush pocket parks throughout the building in an eye-catching design.

The building’s original design consisted of ‘fractal, triangulated geometry’.The architects carried this theme throughout the design, ‘chiseling’ various disjointed geometric forms and creating little nooks and seating areas along the way.

The flat spaces created by this method were converted into green pocket parks throughout the building, including the more spacious rooftop, which was transformed into an outdoor recreational lounge. The end result is a spectacular building that boasts a number of green spaces and sets a unique example in green architecture.
