The course discusses the basic knowledge of net zero energy buildings and passive house. It explains definitions, terminologies and basic strategies to achieve net zero energy buildings. The presentation consists of 3 presentation parts with 30 minutes total presentation time. However, the presenters can present clearly and effectively within the time.

I would like to recommend the course for designers, architects and engineers that are not familiar with zero energy building concept. Overall, it is great introductory course.

I am looking into making my own house, and while NetZero Energy house might not be possible, I am going to take some ideas from this presentation and use them!

Passive House shows how a highly insulated building envelope, airtight construction, high performance windows, and more come together to to show how these choices can lower costs (over time) and reduce maintenance.

The presentation is laid out logically and is easy to follow, this is a basic course and only here to get you excited and hopefully make you want to learn more!
